after some very light internet stalking, i found the place that i talked to my parents about last night. it's a family that we're friends with, apparently they host parties and receptions all the time and are super awesome. behold:

Wow, Twelve Oaks indeed.
It is beautiful, but I'm really worried about the not-fenced-in pool. Wouldn't want you to "accidentally" fall in with your wedding dress on, Wend-o.
duh! i love it. but the open pool is kind of a stinker for watching my baby, but she's a better listener than she was when we were there in june.
i totally love this place!!! i can already picture the entire day/night! it will be perfect!
